What to Expect

All Are Welcome!

We believe that all people are made in the image of a God who not only created us, but also came to live among us. It is our deep desire to welcome you into a church community where we seek to experience the freedom that is found in Jesus. Every season is an opportunity to delight in him and each other, to serve one another and our neighbors, and to labor for His kingdom. We hope you will visit with us and we invite you to come as you are!

Here are some common questions people have about Sundays at South City Church. If you have another question, please email us at info@southcitychurch.com. We are happy to answer any question and do our best to respond within a day!

Do you have information for Visitors?

Yes! We have members of the congregation who will greet you as you’re entering the building. Please don’t hesitate to ask them for any information!

How long is your service?

Our morning service usually is an hour long, but occasionally may be a little longer if there are a few special events included.

May I partake of the Lord’s Supper?

Anyone who is a baptized Christian is invited to the participate in the Lord’s Supper. You don’t need to be a member of our church or presbyterian to enjoy communion with the Lord and with us at his table.

What should I wear?

At South City Church, we believe it is important to come to the Lord as we are without any pretense. Please wear whatever you think best and feel comfortable in as we all gather together in the presence of the Lord our God.

What about my children?

We provide nursery services, which begins shortly before the worship service at 10:30am, for infants up to age 3. If your child is age 4 or older, we invite them to come to children’s worship during the sermon. Once children’s worship concludes, our children’s ministry staff will escort them back to the sanctuary (typically during communion) and ensure they find you!
