The mission of Children’s Ministry at SCC is to assist the parents of our church in the Christian nurture of their children. To fulfill this mission, we provide programs for fellowship and discipleship of children and families. On Sunday mornings during worship, children under age 3 are welcome to play in our nursery. 3-year-olds through third graders participate in worship until being dismissed for Children’s Worship during the sermon. Throughout the year, Children’s Ministry hosts several fellowship events for children and families. These events help children get to know and enjoy their church family more and provide opportunities for outreach to friends and neighbors.
